Middle Eastern Masterpieces

There are a few restaurants that do middle eastern cooking Almost As Good As Moms. One of them is called Madani’s Restaurant Mediterranean Cuisine.
The food I’ve had has been fabulous. My go to is: Hummas and grape leaves as the apps and then my gluten free,- dairy free -order of 6 pieces chicken kebab with rice. Just delish! The spices, the smell, the taste!

Its Colin’s Birthday.

When Colin was born 25 years ago today-I heard through my mom who was great friends with his grandmother.
My favorite sound is his laughter. He has a wonderful voice, and he plays bass. He’s my Davey Johnston. I texted him Happy Birthday. He will Thank me and we will do next year in person when we are finally vaccinated.
Sorry Colin about this world, but I did protest a lot of it. I promise you if you vote Blue for a few decades (maybe if the Republicans go to the middle) we can get our country to be kinder, gentler, and less mean.

Day 16

Thirty more days of staying home, talking on the phone, playing games, reading, movies, cooking, watching bloopers on YouTube, doing laundry and dishes and cleaning and organizing and staying home and staying safe. Wash your hands! But laugh too-not at anyone but TV and movie bloopers.

I love This! But Im also an only child!

So I crave being home -and not having to go out and face the world. In two weeks-I will have to go out and get food. So grateful for this break-miss my friends and all of their kids. But, I’ve reconnected with a cousin. How wonderful!

Spending Two Weeks

For the next two weeks I don’t know if I’m on vacation or just staying home and washing my hands every 15 minutes. I use plain water and soap. Nothing fancy. Am I staying home or shopping for food? Can I go out to dinner? What about lunch? If I’m feeling fine do I have to stay home? Is Netflix free for these two weeks? What about Apple TV?
