Insurance is Hell
Finding insurance that’s affordable and living on my Social Security has always been an adventure in itself. Usually the increases are manageable or I can sell more furniture or get a dog sitting job.
But, Monday, I started my quest to find new insurance! Today is Thursday. It’s through AARP. I’m exhausted about money.
Insurance is a racket-wasn’t it started by the MOB??? lol
Chris from Kensington Insurance couldn’t lower my value of my house to AARP $649,000 ( you can’t sell it at this and it’s my forever home) Chris value of my home was 701,000.
He could raise my insurance deductible but that would only get me so much off.
Last year I paid the same amount ( I’ve been a customer for 3 years) and this year no matter how much I tried. Chris was 1,000 more a year.
Hey, I live in New Britain where our Trump loving Mayor will probably raise our taxes for laughs. So, I need to keep everything low—so I will never be homeless.

Insurance went up AGAIN
Is there any hope that I will be able to keep my house another year—I’m only 65 and I want to keep it until I die.
But, maybe the CPOD will take me soon!
I am an inside person. I don’t like the outside. It’s a simple thing, I just want to live in my house with Snickers.
Oh Snickers owner Sharon when she gave me the dog-I told her I couldn’t afford to take him-but she said she would pay for everything—that lasted two years and she would give me $40.00 twice a year.
Now, I’m going to have to sue her in small claims court. She did vote for Trump in 2016,2020–and said she wasn’t voting for him in 2024.
Sharon is married to a very rich man-they have two houses-one a beach house.
When I asked her for money to feed Snickers she told me to get a job. I told her to sell her second house. ( I had a mental breakdown after my breast cancer because they took me off Prozac and the other pills made me rage induced.)
To keep my house I don’t do anything. I don’t go out to eat, I don’t have media, I live a very plain life.
I’m dancing-well I’m moving
My right leg and left leg at different times to a beat.
Today, was dance rehearsal -and if I wasn’t concerned with the dancing-I should be!
Actually one of my actor friends met me early to help me feel comfortable with the ball change???
She was wonderful and very supportive! I learned it and then forgot it too.
It’s such a Trip being on stage the same place as I was in 1988-
I’m amazed I didn’t trip, nope-I fell right off the stage-I was kneeling-obviously I have to dance more!
Such fun!
I bought Gas for 2.93 a gallon.
Is that high? Usually it’s $15.00 to 20.00 for a full tank ( 2009 Ford Focus bought in 2016 )-Yesterday i paid $20.00 for 3/4 of a full tank. Now, to not drive anywhere except friends, family and rehearsals.
