I am very blessed to be friends with so many great people. My friend Mare treated me to a Broadway play and an overnight in NYC in 2017.

So, I played with the Universe and said I’d like to meet Barbra Streisand while in NYC.

Mare, her brother, his husband her cousins and I were seated when there was a hush in the crowd. Lights turned down as Robert Redford and his friends enter and sat a few rows down from us.

At intermission I asked to use the bathroom but Mare who has known me for over 40 years told me to sit on my hands and she refused to move so I could get out of my seat. She knew I wanted to meet him. So I had to wait until the show ended and most of the audience walked out.

Then I walked up to him, told him I was a writer and I’m so glad to meet you. He told me we need writers and had a nice chat.

I didn’t ask for an autograph but thanked him for his movies
