Three years ago in a car accident on RT 9 I hurt my back. After 9 months of therapy I was told to give up my organizing business Les Is More. I cried from the back pain and the lack of self esteem I knew I’d lose.
Everyday is some twinge, cramp and sharp jab that takes my breath away. But, I’m still here.
Thank you CT for allowing medical marijuana. Because I smoke, I don’t need opioids for pain. I only take my depression and thyroid pills.
Although, I’d prefer edibles.
Another year and that sector will explode hopefully. For now, it’s honey in my tea and vaping.
stay safe wear a mask we love you as Seth Meyers signs off nightly. Thanks Seth.
Wear the damn mask!
I’m so grateful to my Governor for mandating masks. With neighbors and friends giving me very cute masks -love wearing them. I’m blessed to have them all. Yes, the friends. And the masks. 😂😂
Im so grateful
For my friends who give me food, gift cards and laughter.
For a friend who helped me cook a 20 pound Turkey .
For the homeless people and others showing us but for the grace of God-
Thank you all. ❤️❤️
The Sun is OUT &
Snickers wants my undivided attention to play.
He barks, “Get off that computer and let’s run.”
I’m working my baby I say-and he pulls my hand aside and jumps in my lap. I snap this photo a few minutes later.
Covid
Yesterday I took a Covid test. I’m glad the test is free and it’s over. As I told a friend-I’m glad they stuck that in my nose and not my vagina. Now, we wait for a text with the results.
im so grateful there is a vaccine coming next year.
SnickErs
Hugging Snickers makes this pandemic and The Trump Presidency bearable. I’m grateful for all the voters. But holy hell-there are a lot of people who believe what Trump says. Please stop. Do yourself a favor and watch the news. ABC, CBS or NBC.
How to plan a day at the beach
Whether you live near the beach or are planning a day trip after looking at Orlando houses for sale, a beach trip is always needed. Spending a day at the beach can be enough relaxation to last for the rest of the month, but the preparation before can quickly ruin your stress-free day. If you are planning a day at the beach, use the following tips to make sure the only thing on your mind is remembering to reapply sunscreen.
Pack a Bag for Essentials
The most important thing you are going to need on a beach trip is sun protection, no matter the temperature. Get a bag big enough to fit towels, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, clothing changes, and anything else you think you should bring to the beach. It is also usually a good idea to bring another bag that can get wet, so you have a place to store your wet swimsuits when the day is done, instead of ruining the leather seats in your car. Feel free to bring any other essentials you think you are going to need, but keep in mind that you will have to carry it all back when the day is done.
Bring Plenty of Food and Drinks
The words that can ruin a beach trip faster than anything else are the words “I’m hungry” when you do not have any food. You do not have to bring your entire pantry, but sandwiches, granola bars, individual bags of pretzels or chips, and other snacks that are perfect for one person to eat at a time will avoid getting sand and saltwater in food that everyone is sharing. In a small cooler, bring plenty of water bottles, as the sun tends to dehydrate you quickly. If you plan on bringing plastic water bottles and other wrappers that are disposable, bring a bag dedicated to collecting trash, which will keep the beach clean and make clean up easier.
Bring Beach Toys
When it comes to entertainment, the sand and the water can only be so much fun on their own, especially if you are bringing smaller children. To avoid boredom meltdowns, pack a small bag of toys that will keep your kids occupied. A trip to your local dollar store could get you all of the toys you need, and you won’t feel as bad about losing or ruining a toy that only cost you one dollar. If the people you are going with are a little too old for building sandcastles, bringing a good book may be all you need. As long as you enjoy the company you keep, you are bound to have a fun beach day.
Beach days may sound stressful, especially for parents of young children, but as long as you prepare yourself ahead of time, you will be sure to make some of the best memories with a day on the beach.
